HARRY AYE DECLARES VICTORY THROUGH FAITH ON “ALELUYA”

Harry Aye is a London-based Afrobeats recording artist and songwriter who has built a growing presence across the UK and Nigerian music scenes. Known for blending cultural rhythms with contemporary melodies, he has developed his sound through impactful solo releases and major collaborations. His new single “Aleluya” opens with a deeply personal reflection on growing up through absence and struggle, setting the tone for a song about overcoming difficult beginnings through faith.

Harry Aye looks back on his childhood with the lines, “my daddy wasn’t there, what a fuck up,” while acknowledging the sacrifices of his mother, who “hustle hard just to get up.” From that difficult starting point, the song shifts toward gratitude as he sings, “Oluwa lo n se toe se fun mi,” recognizing God as the one responsible for the good in his life. He then declares, “me I was born, I was born winner,” turning his past into a story of survival and determination rather than defeat.

The chorus brings that message together with “Aleluya mo ja bo mo jide,” describing the act of falling and rising again, while encouraging listeners to sing a song of praise when times get hard. Harry Aye acknowledges that even when the sun is shining, rain can still come, but insists that “man no go fall” because he is covered by the Holy Ghost.

“Aleluya” becomes a declaration of resilience and faith, speaking to anyone who has faced hardship, carried difficult experiences, and still chosen to rise without allowing those experiences to break them.
