Brosthrone, born Ogbe Japhet, is a fast-rising Nigerian Afropop and Afro-fusion singer, songwriter, and performing artist from Benin City, Edo State. Known as the “Knight of Afrobeat,” he began building momentum in 2023 under his own imprint, Throne Records, and has continued to grow his profile through collaborations with established names in the Nigerian music industry.
His new single, “Sayless,” opens with a simple instruction to his brother: say less. From that opening, the song sets out its central idea: there is little need to explain yourself when your actions and results can speak on your behalf.
Driven by an upbeat Afropop production, “Sayless” encourages listeners to stay focused on their goals, remain consistent, and resist the pressure to prove themselves before their time. Brosthrone reflects on the value of patience, recognising that progress does not always happen immediately and that some things only become clear with time. Rather than chasing validation or announcing every move, he champions the quiet confidence of someone committed to putting in the work.
The message resonates with anyone pursuing a goal without immediate recognition, navigating uncertainty, or trusting a journey that has yet to deliver its full rewards. For Brosthrone, the point is simple: protect your peace, keep moving, and allow your progress to make the statement.
