Prince Max is a Nigerian gospel and inspirational singer, songwriter, and arranger whose musical journey began in the church. Born in Kaduna into the family of Rev. Oc Max, he started singing in his local church at the age of seven before moving to Lagos to develop his career. He also serves as the CEO of Rockcity Music Company, combining his work as an artist with music leadership. His new four-track EP, “Solace,” featuring Dr Flourish Peters, brings together songs about God’s unconditional love.
The EP opens with “In Your Arms,” a heartfelt expression of the safety and acceptance found in God’s love. Prince Max sings, “Oh how much You love me, Daddy, I feel so safe in Your arms,” reflecting on salvation and grace through the relationship between a loving Father and His child.

The message continues on “Jesus Is Coming,” which begins with the call to attention, “Blow the trumpet, Jesus is coming.” Prince Max frames Christ’s return not as a threat meant to inspire fear, but as a message of love that calls people to remain ready. “Million Ways” closes the EP with an expression of overwhelming gratitude, as he sings, “A million ways and a billion times, You have shown me that You value me.” The song reflects on the many ways God communicates His love and reminds the listener of their worth in Him.
