OUTSYD EDDIE TELLS STREET STORIES ON STAY “STAY OUTSYD”
Outsyd Eddie is one of the fresh voices bringing new energy to Nigeria’s street-pop scene. The Benin City artist first gained widespread attention as one of the standout voices on the viral hit “Feel D Mood” in late 2024, quickly earning recognition for his lively delivery and relatable storytelling. Since then, he has continued to build on that momentum with music inspired by everyday experiences and the people around him. His debut EP, STAY OUTSYD, offers a closer look at the journey that has shaped him moving through love, ambition, loyalty, and celebration.
Across the five-track project, Outsyd Eddie tells stories that many young listeners will recognise.”Uni Love” explores the tension between romance and the realities of chasing financial stability, while”Casamigos” celebrates success, friendship, and the enjoyment of the rewards of hard work. On “NoLove,” he opens up about disappointment and the emotional walls that can follow betrayal, before turning his attention to loyalty on “Afa Kennedy,” a tribute to the friends who remain present through every stage of life.
The project closes with “Hey,” a playful street-pop record built around confidence, flirtation, and infectious energy. Together, the songs on Stay Outsyd balance reflective moments with records made for parties and everyday enjoyment, all carried by catchy melodies and conversational writing.
