OBEDO PF UNLEASHES DEBUT EP ‘HOPE FOR GHETTO YOUTHS’: A VOICE FROM THE STREETS

Young Nigerian Afro-fusion act Obedo PF is stepping boldly into the spotlight with his debut EP
titled “Hope for Ghetto Youths”, a passionate, genre-blending body of work that gives voice to
the dreams, pain, and creativity of young people hustling from the ground up. Born and raised
where inspiration often meets hardship, Obedo PF channels real-life experience into rhythm,
making music that feels both lived-in and uplifting.

The 5-track EP opens with “Imperfect”, an abstract, soul-driven intro where scattered sounds
form a chaotic but beautiful harmony, a reflection of life in the ghetto. On “Focus”, he rides a
bouncy Afrobeats/Amapiano beat, affirming his hustle and spiritual alignment as he chants “on
the ghetto way”. The journey continues “Believe”, where vulnerability meets bounce, and

Obedo speaks to the inner strength required to grind in silence. It’s a party jam, but with
purpose.

Collaborations with rising Afro talents Wizard Chan, VibemanJay, and Pekeys elevate the
EP’s energy and expand its range, reinforcing the sense of community and ambition that fuels
the project.

“I made this EP as a mirror and a megaphone for every youth like me, who started with
nothing but still dares to dream,” says Obedo PF. “This is our sound. Our truth. Our hope.”
“Hope for Ghetto Youths” is now available on all streaming platforms.
