DEEYASSO FINDS HIMSELF CAPTIVATED ON NEW SINGLE “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE”

Deeyasso is a Grammy-nominated Nigerian record producer, multi-instrumentalist, mixing and mastering engineer, songwriter, and qualified lawyer. Born Dennis Hope Yasso on May 5, 1991, he hails from Taraba State and is based in Lagos. Known for blending soulful melodies with Afropop, contemporary R&B, and street-pop arrangements, he brings his experience as both a producer and artist to his new single “What Have You Done,” featuring Syemca.

The song opens with Deeyasso admitting that he is not in the mood and needs someone to treat him right. He asks her to “pull up in my circumstance,” inviting her into his world at a moment when he needs her presence. Syemca then captures the effect she has had on him, repeatedly asking, “what have you done to my body?” as he describes how her energy and presence have completely taken over his thoughts and feelings.

“What Have You Done” explores the feeling of being caught off guard by attraction and finding yourself unable to resist someone’s pull.
