LSH (Lumin Social House) Launches the First Ever Creative-Centric Social Houses In Nigeria, Set to Illuminate Mainland Lagos as its Creative Destination

Situated at Ikeja, Allen Junction, the mainland commercial hub of Lagos—LUMIN gives creatives immediate access to adequate lighting, versatile backgrounds, and a collaborative, hassle-free environment. LUMIN is not your regular content studio/social house. Like your new side chick, LUMIN brings a rare beauty to content creation and production that can never be found anywhere else on the mainland. Don’t think she is a new kid on the block; the community of creatives who birthed this baby have been working in their respective fields for over a decade.

The Community Comes First

LUMIN is Nigeria’s first community-centric social house. What does this mean? The studio is made by creatives, for creatives. There isn’t a single owner. Instead, photographers, makeup artists, and models joined forces to create a hassle-free creative space for top-notch content. That is LUMIN.

“I just want creatives to come together, have a space where we can connect and just have our time”      – The Creative Director of LUMIN.

Lights, Camera, Action

From its name —LUMIN, a root word from Latin meaning light. You can get an inkling of what the brand represents. Lumin Social House offers uninterrupted 24/7 power and flawless lighting, a rare experience for creators on Lagos Mainland.

Here’s the production gap LUMIN bridges. Picture this: You book a shoot for 2 hours (3-5pm), but you live in Ikorodu and the studio is in Lekki Phase 1. Lagos traffic is no joke, and you arrive at 3:15pm. Makeup starts, taking 10–20 minutes, then you set up your lights, because you’re not at LUMIN. Time is running out. By 4:30pm, you start shooting, leaving barely 30 minutes for shots, outfit changes, and backgrounds. It’s a recipe for disaster. This is hypothetical, but reality is often worse. Aren’t you tired and frustrated already?

The Creative-Centric Model of LSH

With LSH (LUMIN Social House), you can have a free, open space for your creativity where you can take fire pictures and shoot content like interviews and podcasts, since it isn’t a single photographer’s personal space. The hassle of “I have my own people, you just borrow this background alone” doesn’t exist. Walk in, shoot, produce and have fun. LSH, like her vision, brings light to your creativity. You also get an additional five to ten minutes for preparation.

Furthermore, this creativity-centric model, LSH, has adopted creates the backdrop of creative expression you’re allowed to exhibit. From family-friendly content to Music videos, podcasts, family portraits, and creative hangout events, LSH is a hub for just about anything and everything you can think of in the creative space. And that is why LSH plans to run fashion shows and Pop-up events during the grand opening, all to unite creatives from all around.

The LSH Experience

The vision for LSH was born from countless hours of meticulous planning and creative brainstorming by the team. The studio’s highly distinctive aesthetics, backdrop, walls, and props were curated with a clear goal: to build something different from all other social houses.

“To be different, you have to do a lot of critical thinking; you have to be creative,” the creative director stated. “Every background and design was carefully formulated through major online research and a process of mixing colours to create a space that serves multiple purposes.” He explained.

“It is a perfect blend of different vibes.”

The building warmly welcomes you right from the reception. The homely furniture, comfortable lighting, and ambient lighting that foreground different rooms put you in the creative zone before the first click of the camera. The space welcomes you without even meeting anybody. There are about 9 backgrounds, paired into 3 sections. So you can have multiple shoots all at once. And what is unique is that each space can run independently without interference.

It is truly a space for every creative need. It is designed as a one-stop destination for all expressions of creativity.

Operating Hours and Information

Following its debut launch on Saturday, October 18, 2025. And it’s a collaborative private pop-show with photographers, industry tastemakers and influencers.  LSH will now be open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. The space is also available for private events and special bookings outside regular hours. A pre-launch promotional discount is currently under discussion; details will be announced soon.

“The vibe we have coming up is something big for Lagos,” the creative director added.
