  October 16, 2025 – Daily Paper, the Amsterdam-born clothing label rooted in diasporic cultural storytelling and its founders’ African heritage, partners with global lifestyle brand New Era and Parisian typographer Tyrsa for a fresh reinterpretation of their iconic Paname cap. Building on a decade-long connection with Paris, this release honors the deep-rooted cultural ties between Daily Paper and the creative communities of the Île-de-France region. The collaboration fuses Daily Paper’s community-first ethos with New Era’s craftsmanship and Tyrsa’s bold visual identity, spotlighting heritage, craft, and local pride.  
  THE ÎLE-DE-FRANCE CAP
First introduced 12 years ago and exclusively sold at the legendary concept store colette, the Paname Cap became a symbol of Daily Paper’s deep connection with Paris and its people, a never-ending love story that continues to evolve. Daily Paper’s first footsteps in Paris began at Gare du Nord, marking the start of countless journeys through the city’s creative landscape, from the streets of Argenteuil and the vibrant heart of Pigalle to the legacy of colette on Saint-Honoré and the artistic corners of Le Marais. For 2025, the story continues with a bold new vision by Parisian artist Tyrsa, known for reshaping typographic art with a modern edge. Drawing inspiration from the architectural details of Gare du Nord and the eight-petal flower symbol representing the eight departments of Île-de-France, the new Île-de-France Cap celebrates connection, community, and cultural exchange. Rooted in craftsmanship, it embodies a new era of identity, worn by the youth defining Paris’ creative scene and shaping its voice in the global conversation.   
  STUDIO TYRSAAt the heart of the campaign is Alexis Taïeb, aka Tyrsa, the Parisian artist redefining typography as both craft and cultural statement. With a body of work spanning Nike, Louis Vuitton, and PSG, Tyrsa stands at the intersection of art, identity, and heritage. His contribution to this project, from the design to the creative vision, embodies a commitment to legacy-building and creative excellence. In this collaboration, Tyrsa’s personal narrative weaves into the larger story of Daily Paper and New Era’s shared values of community, creativity, and cultural impact.
