SKALES IGNITES THE DANCEFLOOR WITH NEW SINGLE “BURST THEIR SPEAKERS”

not far-fetched to agree that lightning struck more than once.
Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has taken both Afrobeats and the rest of
the world by surprise. With his hit record from 2014, “Shake Body”, still standing as the biggest
Afrobeats song in 2025, the Kaduna-born singer premieres his latest single, “Burst Their
Speakers”, a declaration of his plans to continue in his already great form.
In his words, he sings “As for me, I know, we go burst their speakers”, probably, also
alluding to a forthcoming music album. In good spirits, Skales employs a piece of literary
ingenuity drawn from his decade-old hit record Booty Language. With Artistic Dexterity, he
screams “Burst Their Speakers booty, Burst Their Speakers a**” as if to summon sonic
essence from records written in the not-so-distant past.
This adds to the growing collection of singles released this year by the Afrobeats Superstar.
Following ‘Another one’, ‘Dance like Lamine Yamal’, and a Spanish remix of ‘Shake Body’,
”Burst Their Speakers” seeks to bury any doubt about Skales being able to make bangers at
will.
Truly, it has been a great year for the Shake Body crooner. From ruling the streets of European
cities, to having football clubs, players, and fans anthemize his music while capping such
milestones with a performance at the 2025 Barcelona Copa Del Rey Celebration.
