Zhus Jdo learned early that nothing comes easy. Growing up in Benin City, every opportunity had to be
earned, every setback became a lesson, and every victory came from staying focused. That mindset is the
engine behind Wahala Pikin, a seven-track EP that embraces struggle, stays true to self, and turns life’s
challenges into motivation.

Across the project, Zhus Jdo takes listeners through different chapters of his life, blending Afrobeats,
Afro-drill, Amapiano, street-hop, hip-hop, and melody into a sound that refuses to fit in one lane. The

result is a body of work that feels lived-in and immediate; every lyric drawn from experience, every
record built to connect.

The journey begins with “E Never Choke,” a statement of relentless ambition. Over a fusion of Afro-
drill and Amapiano, Zhus Jdo makes it clear that no matter how much he achieves, the hunger never
fades. “Opium Amapiano” shifts the energy into pure celebration. On “Kai Cenat,” he channels the
confidence of a generation that believes anything is possible through consistency and self-belief, crafting
a hook built for both the streets and a global audience.

The second half dives deeper. “Nigerian Accent,” featuring Muyeez, is a love letter to home, an
unapologetic embrace of culture, voice, and identity. “USDT” reflects the modern hustle, where success
is built in a fast-changing digital world and belongs to those willing to adapt. “CrashOut” explores the
highs and lows of relationships with humour, honesty, and personality, balancing bounce with attitude.

Closing the EP is “Put It On Me,” which reveals another side of the artist. Behind the confidence and
street mentality is someone learning to trust, love, and let his guard down.

“Wahala Pikin is about embracing the struggle and turning life’s challenges into motivation,” Zhus
Jdo says. “I wanted every record to feel real, every lyric to come from experience, and every song to
connect with people wherever they are in the world.”

Wahala Pikin is dedicated to everyone still fighting for their dreams, the ones who keep showing up even
when the odds are against them. As Zhus Jdo puts it: “Greatness is earned, never given.”
