Laime and Dremo bring together two distinct voices from Nigeria’s evolving Afro-fusion landscape on their new EP, “Sunset Drive.” The duo previously connected through Dremo’s “Man 2 Man” challenge, building a creative chemistry that now continues through a three-track project centred around love, ambition, and everydaymm experiences. Laime, a singer and songwriter from Rivers State who was raised between Lagos and Abuja, has gained recognition for his smooth vocals, thoughtful songwriting, and ability to blend different sounds into a personal style. Dremo, born Aboriomoh Femi Raymond, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his lyrical ability and contributions to Nigeria’s hip-hop scene.

On “Sunset Drive,” Laime and Dremo explore different sides of human connection and personal growth. The project opens with “Take My Time,” a song about maintaining love despite distance and uncertainty.
Through honest conversations and heartfelt melodies, they capture the patience, reassurance, and effort required to keep a relationship strong when life creates challenges.
The EP continues with “If To Say Na You (Na Money),” where the artists examine ambition, financial goals, and the influence of money on relationships and decision-making. Closing the project is “Matcha Latte” featuring Sante SVM, a romantic track that blends playful energy with admiration and attraction. Across the three songs, Laimem and Dremo create a soundtrack for different moments in life, combining relatable storytelling with Afro-fusion groove. “Sunset Drive is about real conversations and real emotions. Whether it’s love, ambition, or relationships, I wanted every song to reflect experiences that people live through every day.”
